What we do with what you send us

What the form collects

When you send us a message we receive the name, work email, project description, and — if you choose to fill them in — the company name and phone number you typed. Our server also records the IP address the message came from, the time it arrived, and a few technical details about the visit, such as which page you sent it from and how you found our site, which is how we stop automated spam and see which pages are useful.

What we do with it

We read it and we reply. That is the whole purpose. A person reads every message; it is not fed to an automated marketing system, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We will not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone else, and we do not use them for advertising.

Where it goes

• The message is delivered by email to a private Devunora address. Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States.
• A short-lived counter (your IP address and a hash of the message) is stored for up to 24 hours so the same message is not delivered twice and so nobody can flood the form. It expires automatically.

How long we keep it

Your message stays in our email for as long as the conversation is useful — typically the life of a project and a reasonable period afterwards for our records. The spam counters expire within 24 hours. If we never end up working together, tell us and we will delete the thread.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no advertising scripts. We do measure how the site is used in aggregate, meaning which pages are visited, roughly where visitors arrive from, and how quickly pages load, without cookies and without building a profile of anyone. That measurement is done by the service that delivers the site, and it never receives your name or anything you type into the form. Even the fonts are served from our own site. The only things stored in your browser are two small preferences, remembering whether you turned the sound on and whether you stopped the motion, and they never leave your device. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages produce standard technical logs (the IP address and the page requested), used only for security and aggregate traffic counts.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — use the contact form to send your request.

Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. We do not make changes retroactively without telling the people affected.
